Do I need to be an expert to use your studios?
Not at all! Our on-site technical staff will handle the setup and ensure all equipment is running perfectly. You just need to show up with your great ideas.
Is setup and teardown time included in my booking?
Yes. Your booking time is the total time you have reserved the studio. For example, if you book from 2 PM to 4 PM, your session should begin and end within that window, including any setup or file transfer time. We recommend booking enough time to accommodate this.
What happens if my session goes over my booked time?
If the studio is available, you may extend your session. Overtime is billed in full one-hour increments at the standard hourly rate for your studio.
Can I bring my own equipment?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own cameras, microphones, or other specific gear. Please let us know in advance so we can ensure it integrates smoothly with our systems. There will be a strike fee for us to take our cameras and equipment out and put it back when you are done.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require at least 96 hours’ notice for cancellations to receive a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations made with less than 96 hours’ notice will forfeit the deposit.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is ample free parking available at our Irvine location.
Can we bring food and drinks?
While every session includes a complimentary glass of wine, you are welcome to order additional wine, charcuterie boards, and other food items from the McClain Cellars menu. No outside food or beverages are permitted.
How do I receive my recorded files?
After your session, we will provide you with the raw audio and/or video files via a secure cloud download link, typically within 24 hours.
